Funding from the Kempe Foundations
In exciting news, the Kempe Foundations have generously continued to fund our research on the impacts of chemical pollution on aquatic wildlife! This new project will investigate whether and how exposure to contaminants alters group-level behaviours in populations of Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). It will include both laboratory-based behavioural ecotoxicology experiments and large-scale studies carried out in semi-natural and natural settings, where acoustic telemetry will be used to track fish behaviour remotely and in high resolution.
