Funding support from the Kempe Foundations

I am thrilled that myself and my co-investigators (Niclas Kolm, Marcus Michelangeli, and Tomas Brodin) have received continued funding support from the Kempe Foundations for the next three years for the project ‘Can brain size explain individual variation in the effects of drug exposure?’ This funding was granted to support the purchasing of equipment, as well as analytical chemistry analysis and brain morphology scanning, for a series of experiments investigating how relative brain size might mediate the impacts of exposure to micropollutants, including pharmaceutical contaminants, in fish. This project is a collaboration between the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and Stockholm University.
